Supported Integrations

Activity Messenger currently supports the following connected apps:

  • Zoom — for virtual classes and meetings

  • Amilia — for external system synchronization

  • Canva — for streamlined design and asset publishing

Each integration serves a different purpose and can be enabled independently.

Zoom Integration

The Zoom integration allows Activity Messenger to automatically create and manage Zoom meetings based on your class schedules.

What the Zoom Integration Does

Once connected, Activity Messenger can:

  • Automatically generate Zoom meetings for scheduled classes

  • Associate Zoom links directly with class events

  • Keep virtual sessions aligned with schedule changes

  • Support multiple Zoom accounts within the same organization

This ensures instructors and participants always have the correct meeting link, without manual setup.

In Activity Messenger, Classes and Events represent Activities. A Class represents the activity as a whole, and an Event represents one scheduled occurrence.

Connecting Zoom

To connect Zoom:

  1. Click Connect Zoom

  2. Authenticate with your Zoom account

  3. Select which Zoom account to use (if multiple are connected)

After authentication, Zoom becomes available for use in class and event workflows.

Daily Zoom Digest (Optional)

You can configure a daily digest that sends an email to selected staff members whenever Zoom classes are scheduled for the day.

This is especially useful for:

  • Instructors preparing for virtual sessions

  • Administrators monitoring daily operations

📎 A dedicated article covers Zoom configuration, multi-account management, and class automation in detail.

Amilia Integration

The Amilia integration allows Activity Messenger to connect directly to your Amilia account, enabling synchronized workflows between the two platforms.

Connecting Amilia

To connect Amilia:

  1. Log into your Amilia account

  2. Go to Account > Administrators

  3. Add api@activitymessenger.com as a Manager

  4. Copy your Amilia organization slug from the URL

  5. Paste the slug into Activity Messenger

  6. Click Connect to Amilia

Once connected, Activity Messenger can securely communicate with your Amilia organization, enabling data alignment and integration-specific workflows depending on your setup.

Canva Integration

The Canva integration allows you to create and publish visual assets directly from Canva into Activity Messenger, eliminating manual downloads and uploads.

Use Canva when you want to create images externally and publish them directly into your Activity Messenger Media library.

What the Canva Integration Does

Canva is a web-based design tool used for creating marketing and communication visuals.

When Canva is connected to Activity Messenger:

  • You can publish PNG or JPG designs directly from Canva

  • Published designs automatically appear in Your images

  • Images are immediately available for use in:

    • Message templates

    • Forms

    • Confirmation pages

    • Microsites and landing pages

This streamlines the design-to-publish workflow and keeps assets centralized.

Connecting Canva

There is no manual Connect button for Canva.

To connect Canva to Activity Messenger:

  1. Open a design in Canva

  2. Click Share or Publish

  3. Select Activity Messenger as the destination

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions

Once a design is published, the integration is automatically activated and the image is added to your Activity Messenger media library.
